An iconic portrait of Elvis Presley by Andy Warhol, pop artist is poised to fetch as much as $50 million (32 million pounds) when it hits the Sotheby’s auction block in May. Of 22 works in Elvis series by Andy Warhol, which were first exhibited at Los Angeles’ Ferus gallery, nine are in museum collections, including the Museum of Modern Art.
