Australian photographer Liz Ham works in the genres of advertising, fashion and portrait photography. Her portfolio includes photos for Vogue, FHM, Nylon, Oyster, Dazed and Confused, Cosmopolitan, Sunday Magazine, and many others. Works by fashion photographer Liz Ham are picturesque and have style. Liz Ham began taking photographs at the age of 14. While studying photoart at the College of Fine Arts, Sydney, she worked as a black and white fine art printer, commercial photographic lab technician and studio manager. She got a detailed knowledge of all aspects of photography. Despite working professionally in fashion, editorial and advertising, Ham’s personal work continues to be exhibited and documented, most recently at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney, and in a cover story for international art journal Art Monthly. Her work has been collected by the Australian National Library Archives, the State Library of Victoria and New South Wales, and exhibited at the Center for Contemporary Photography, Melbourne, the Australian Center for Photography, Stills Gallery and The Liverpool Biennale, United Kingdom. In 2008, Ham was awarded first place in the photography category of the Yen Young Woman of the Year Awards.
