These fantasy images are painted with coffee on watercolor paper. German self-taught artist, illustrator and teacher Jenny Dolfen (Gold-Seven) was born in 1975 in Langen, a very small town south of Cuxhaven. She teaches English and Latin at a private grammar school in Western Germany. Jenny has been working as a freelance illustrator since 2003. The talented artist admits she has always loved to draw – at home, at school, on holiday, on the bus. And her main passion has been Fantasy, from a very early age. Her inspiration with J.R.R. Tolkien started from her mother’s interest to the great English writer, poet and philologist. Now Jenny Dolfen transmits her admiration with characters by Tolkien to her own two children.
