Creative German artist and sculptor Sergej Alexander Dott was born on November 23, 1959 in Berlin, into a family of a Russian father and an Austrian mother. He has become known for the design of pop-art neighborhoods in Berlin and Zittau. Sergej Alexander Dott learned from 1976 to 1978, first the craft of pottery at Hedwig Bollhagen, and then, from 1983 studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts and at the Dresden Art Academy Berlin. In 1988, he began working as an aspirant in Baldur Schoenfelder at the Berlin Academy. Since 1991 he works as a freelance artist, mostly in Berlin and Brandenburg.

Couturier began restoration work. The group of creative Canadian artists Cube Works Studio, had been already in the Guinness Book of Records as the creator of the giant mosaic of a Rubik’s Cube, before the new colorful creation of a mosaic 85.794 cubes appeared in the Chinese city of Macau. On the previous record mosaics – “The Last Supper” and “Hand of God”, were used 4 and 12 thousand Rubik’s cubes, respectively. 85 000 cubes have become “building blocks” in the new grand art-object by Toronto artists, who formed a structure of about 4 meters in height and 60 – in width. “Our work is intended to inspire, to unite and to attract people using their nostalgic feeling – we use familiar objects, but presents them from an unexpected angle,” – said the leader of the Cube Works team Josh Chalom.

The unique beautiful Moon Rainbow fountain-bridge is located along both sides of the bridge BANGO length of 570 meters. The total length of fountain “Moon Rainbow” is 1140 meters. The jet fountain is falling down like a waterfall. Thanks to a special lighting created the effect of dancing water – a terrific game of colors, light rays and water jets. The picturesque waterfall is seen at night from the south bank of the Han River, where the park is located. Fountain colors and lights of the bridge are controlled electronically, able to recreate a variety of programs.

Azerbaijan Cultural Center, or Heydar Aliyev Center was built on Heydar Aliyev avenue in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. The complex construction, which includes the auditorium (Congress Centre), a museum, gallery halls, administrative offices. The project was designed in 2007 by architect Zaha Hadid. On May 10, 2012 the ceremony of Center grand opening took place, to mark the 89th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev. One of the masterpieces of world architecture, Heydar Aliyev Center is considered to be a symbol of modern Baku, bribing its unique and innovative architectural solutions.

Het Arresthuis prison as a luxury hotel

The Netherlands Het Arresthuis has been known since 1862 as a prison of the 19th century. Recently it has been converted into a luxury hotel. The building of Het Arresthuis was reconstructed in a modern style with a touch of glamour, though with the preservation of its history. Thanks to the sauna and fitness center, staying in such a comfortable prison becomes even more enjoyable. The prison previously housed 150 cells, but now there are 45 rooms, including suites with themed titles, such as “Director”, “Warden”, “lawyer” and “judge.” The hotel also has a bar and a restaurant. So, the employees joke that it offers much more than bread and water.
