Thus, people kept both the art form and the tradition alive. And traditionally, creating their patterns craftsmen used various materials. In particular, colored rice, dry flour, (colored) sand, salt, glitter, coffee power, flower petals and even fruits! According to belief, Rangoli design can bring good luck. Traditionally, Carnevale is the pre-Lenten celebration in Italy, and Mardi Gras predecessor. In fact, the French borrowed this idea and made it popular. Meanwhile this is a time of merry-making, masquerade processions, masked balls, parades and pageants. And of course, jugglers, magicians, stilt walkers, elegant costumes and opulent masks, singing and dancing, fireworks, and outdoor feasts in the weeks prior to Ash Wednesday.

In fact, “Singles Awareness Day” (S.A.D.) is a humorous holiday, celebrated on February 14. Evidently, it is an alternative to Valentine’s Day for people who are single, that is, not involved in a romantic relationship.
Meanwhile, on Singles Awareness Day, single people gather to celebrate or to commiserate in their single status. Besides, some want to remind romantic couples that they don’t need to be in a relationship to celebrate life. On this day many people wear green, as it is considered to be the ‘opposite’ of red.
