Sambadrome in Rio de Janeiro which became a home for samba schools in 1984, presents the most famous and prestigious schools of samba in the country, which spend 1 million dollars per year on beautiful decorations, costumes and platform. This bright colorful parade of samba schools belong to the world’s biggest holidays. In 2012, more than 2 million people visited the streets of Rio de Janeiro to participate in the Cordao do Bola Preta bloco. According to police estimates, more than 5 million people attended a bloco during Rio Carnival 2013 and there was not one reported incident of crime.

Four-Legged girl Josephene Myrtle Corbin was born in Tennessee in 1868. Myrtle’s extra legs resulted from dipygus, a rare form of conjoined twinning, which gave her two complete bodies from the waist down. She had two small pelves side-by-side, and each of her smaller inner legs was paired with one of her outer legs. She could move the smaller legs but they were too weak for walking. At the age of 19, she married a doctor Clinton Bicknell and had four daughters and a son. Three of her children were born from one set of organs, two from the other. Corbin entered the sideshow circuit with the moniker “Four-Legged Girl from Texas”. Myrtle died on May 6, 1928, in Cleburne, Texas.

He was bullied at school, often was mistaken for a baby and labelled a circus freak, but Azad Singh has achieved his dreams of becoming a teacher. He teaches computer skills at an all-girls school in Haryana, India. To address his pupils, Mr. Singh stands on a table so that he is high enough to reach the whiteboard. His pupils affectionately call him ‘Chotu’ which means ‘Little Sir’.

With a charming Russian woman Nadezhda, Richard met in 2008 at a seminar in California with a symbolic name “Eternal Love”. She was – 48, he was – 62 years old. Psychologist and director of the medical clinic, he had just retired, had long been divorced. And she was divorced, not once. First two marriages in Russia failed. Nadezhda (her name in English means Hope) came to America in search of a new life and happiness. Married again, and again failed.
