American model and actress, 1950s beauty Suzy Parker was born Cecilia Ann Renee Parker (October 28, 1932 – May 3, 2003). Parker is considered to be the first post-war glamor model, earning more than $200 per hour and 100 000 dollars per year. She was the only fashion model to have a Beatles song named after her – “Suzy Parker” (Lennon/McCartney/Harrison/Starkey). The song appeared abridged, in the ‘Let It Be’ film. The red-haired, green-eyed beauty with beautiful cheekbones, Suzy Parker started modeling at the age of 15, when her photo appeared in Life magazine. Parker modeling career reached its peak in the 1950s, and the pictures with her image adorned more than 70 magazines. The American beauty starred in commercials, movies and television. She supported the activity in the world of show business since 1947 till 1964.

Among them – three headdresses of Mei Lanfang, which the great Peking Opera actor gave to the Soviet Union in 1936 in commemoration of Moscow and Leningrad tours. Mei Lanfang was adored in China. About him said: “One of his smiles is a spring of millennia, one breath – the autumn of thousands of years.” Artist in the fourth generation, he played female roles, debuting at the age of 12, when he was an orphan, and by 16 years old became famous playing in the Tian-yuan yo theater – “Garden of celestial music” – in the then capital of China Peipiņa. He was famous – to look at the young celebrity came from the most remote places of China.

Deborah met Donald Cammell in New York. He moved with Deborah to Paris, where she continued to model and where he began to try his hand at writing scripts. Now she has been a very successful international model, and, in fact Cammell lived for her money for a few years. After living together for ten years, their long relationship (by the standards of fashion and film industry) ended shortly before the start of filming “Performance” (1970). Cammell earned a reputation as cult director just because of his debut film “Performance”, costume designer for which was Deborah Wood Dixon.
