Born in Velletri, Rome on July 19, 1973, Italian artist Cinzia Pellin graduated from Academy of Fine arts in Rome. Her series of drawings depicts the beauty and charm of a woman. And in particular, red color of their lips. The drawings are almost transparent, with few shades of watery green and sea blue, to define the eyes, and the bright red of the lips, used sometimes on the nails, too. An absolute, provoking and eclectic red colour, that exasperates and fascinate us, like the beauty of these women who look abstract for their perfection. These are the women of the third millennium, with feelings, and contradictions. And of course, secrets of today that are the same ones of the past.
