Talented 41 year-old English amateur knitter Kate Jenkins, from Brighton, East Sussex, has created the whole gallery of crocheted food. These are unbelievable works made with a crochet hook, a sewing needle, and wool thread. The subjects of her art – well-known brands and packages – Coca-Cola, Heinz ketchup, Starbucks, Campbell’s tomato soup, and many more. In addition, to make them look more realistic she adds some embroidery. And each work costs 600 pounds. Her creations participated in exhibition ‘Kate’s Dinner’ in New York. According to the craftswoman, she generally starts with a sketchbook and makes lots of notes and drawings of rough themes and ideas. Besides, she often buys real food to see how it looks in 3D.
