Drawings by French artist Cloudmilk
French self-taught artist Claude named ‘Cloudmilk’ (born August 14) has been on deviant art since 2010 when he started drawing. The fabulous artist is still searching his own style. Cloudmilk’s small gallery includes beautiful pencil drawings which can be considered hyperrealistic. The young artist tries to capture the essential of a subject, and shows emotion, movement and light. The artist himself says “I love all kind of graphic arts. I focus on graphite drawing at the moment as I’m learning, but my goal is painting and wood sculpture. Photography can be so inspiring too. I love classical and realistic art.. I wish I could live with my art … sometime”.
Cloudmilk comments – “I wanted to challenge myself with a dark reference, and wanted music in my drawings too. So the reference picture of Heather Nova on stage was it. Heather Nova is born and lives in the Bermuda Islands. She has a sweet light voice coming deep from her soul, and her music is influenced by the Beatles, Neil Young and Jimmy Cliff”.
