Georgian artist Tamaz Gogoladze was born July 14, 1957 in Tbilisi into a family of a writer. In 1981, Tamaz Gogoladze graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Polytechnic Institute, and began an active professional career. For two years, the architectural studio headed by Tamaz Gogoladze developed the project of reconstruction of the old center of Georgian city Tbilisi, as well as Batumi and Zugdidi. In 1988, he became a member of the Union of Architects of the USSR. In 1990, he won the competition of the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Tbilisi. The next year, when he organized the architectural biennale, held in Tbilisi, he got an invitation to join the Technical University in Atlanta (USA). In 1993, he graduated from the graduate school on the theme “Country House”. Along with the scientific work involved in teaching at the Institute of Architecture, he founded a creative group of talented students. Two years later Gogoladze became a member of the International Federation of Artists.

From 2000 to 2007 he worked in Moscow as a chief architect at various project organizations, for instance, the elite village in the Istra district. He developed the concept of reconstruction of the school of the Navy in St. Petersburg, as well as – the concept of rehabilitation and spa complex in the village of Krasnaya Polyana. In 2004, he got an award of the magazine “Modern House”.
In 2007, Tamaz Gogoladze moved to Kiev to head architectural projects in the Ukraine. In addition to architectural activities, Tamaz Gogoladze never gave up painting. He is the participant of numerous solo and group exhibitions in Tbilisi, Atlanta, Moscow, Munich. Beautiful paintings of Tamaz Gogoladze are in private collections, museums and galleries around the world.
