This weird photo was posted on Facebook. Heather Sewell, 50, from Petham, Kent, said she was shocked when she noticed the face in the picture taken during her granddaughter’s christening in St Martin’s Church in Canterbury. When Mrs. Sewell spotted her late husband Terry Sewell, who worked as a laborer, and died 17 years ago after committing suicide aged 41. The black and white face can be seen above the church font hovering over baby Mia-Bella Kennett and the rest of the family. The bizarre photo was caught on camera at St Martin’s Church, Canterbury, Kent by Mrs Sewell’s son Jamie, 29, on his mobile phone.

The Church of St Martin in Canterbury, England, situated slightly beyond the city center, is England’s oldest parish church in continuous use. Since 1668 St Martin’s has been part of the benefice of St Martin & St Paul Canterbury. The churchyard contains the graves of many notable local families and well-known people including Thomas Sidney Cooper, RA (artist) and Mary Tourtel, the creator of Rupert Bear.
