Born in Tashkent, the Uzbek republic of the USSSR, in 1962, Maranov is a talented Soviet Russian painter. According to the artist, his favorite activities are music, philosophy, traveling and of course, painting. In 1992 the artist moved to Moscow and started the series of his beautiful “glowing” or “Shine” painting. He successfully participated in different exhibitions in Russia and abroad. He is a member of UNESCO International Association of artists. Art works created by Maranov decorate museums and private collections in the USA, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Croatia, and Switzerland.
