Born in 1973 and raised in San Francisco, California based artist and designer Laurel Roth is the author of these incredible sculptures. According to her, she uses fake fingernails, barrettes, nail polish, false eyelashes, and jewelry to create her sculptures. Talented American artist represent the choices involved in biological processes that are unique to humankind. In fact, by playing with the convergence of biology and product design to create new cultural artifacts, she tries to question social constructions of need, design, and individual desire. Her works took part in art exhibitions throughout the US and abroad. In particular, in India, London, New York, Chicago, Miami, Los Angeles, Wisconsin, Kentucky, and San Francisco, where she has a studio. In addition to her own work, she regularly collaborates with Andy Diaz Hope, and other artists, on projects and installations.
