First, he showed up in 2008 riots and has been active ever since. Here you can see the brave dog in front of a demonstration in downtown of Athens. Loukanikos the Riot Dog, is a permanent participant of the protests which take place in Greece. By the way, his name from Greek means “Sausage”. This dog, who has been sighted at protests since 2008, apparently has no fear of tear gas, loud explosions, crowds, riot police or fire and is became known across the world.
