Warm world by Rajka Kupesic. Croatian artist Rajka Kupesic developed a unique personal style of painting, which has fascinated art lovers all over the world. Raika Kupesic left Zagreb for Toronto and currently lives there with her husband Zlatko and their two sons. She has exhibited extensively across Canada, the U.S.A. and in Europe. Her paintings are exhibited in museums, and stored private and public collections around the world.
Rajka Kupesic reflects in her paintings the beauty she desires to exist in her world; an enchanted world abundant in cherished memories, hopes and fulfilled dreams, love, joy and peace. In Rajka’s own words. “My art is a celebration of life in all its beauty. Art should be our escape from the mundane. It should inspire and transport us to a world of harmony and peaceful beauty as nature intended.”
For Rajka, art is an essential part of life. From the age of four, she has surrounded herself with many forms of art including music and dance. In her homeland of Croatia, Rajka danced with the Zagreb National Ballet. Upon her arrival in Canada in 1977, her focus turned to painting. Today, Kupesic has established herself as one of Canada’s leading painters with international renown.
