American artist Ellen Thayer Fisher (1847 – 1911), was born in Boston, Massachusetts, into the family of a doctor. Later her family moved to Brooklyn, New York. She married Edward Thornton Fisher in 1869, and started signing her prints with the Fisher name. Ellen (Nelly) Fisher was a self-taught artist, although her younger brother, Abbott Thayer taught her the techniques and technologies of drawing. Abbott studied at the Brooklyn Art School and then at the Academy of Design. Ellen Fisher became known for her watercolor botanical paintings, floral and foliage still lifes. Ellen Fisher exhibited her beautiful artworks at the Brooklyn Art Association.

Born in 1956, in the Siberian city of Omsk, Igor Grishin is a talented artist working in mixed technique. Besides, he is a professional photographer, sculptor and wood carver. Currently the artist is living and working in Mogilev, Belarus. Grishin describes his autobiography with a few words: “educated, married, worked, working on, painting, drawing, sculpturing, photographing“. A participant of several art exhibitions, Igor Grishin is a laureate and winner of the USSR All-Union Festival, awarded diplomas and medals of the USSR. Besides, he is a member of the Union of artists of Belarus. Beautiful art works by Igor Grishin – paintings, drawings, woodcarvings are in private collections in Europe, America, China and the countries of the former Soviet Union.

Born on 21st December 1981, in Scotia, New York, Aja Apa-Soura has her individual unique style in painting. She studied painting at Montserrat College of Art, after which started her own business in Sagittarius gallery. Many of her works can be seen on her website and bought from the online store. Aja Apa-Soura works in her studio in New York, painting in oils using a palette knife. She depicts the streets and alleys, portraits of grumpy cats, colorful flowers and trees, glowing sky and spiral lights, reminiscent of Van Gogh. In the background, many cat portraits, landscapes are easily recognized by characteristic motifs of famous paintings by famous artists, such as “Starry Night” by Vincent van Gogh and “The Scream” by Edvard Munch.
