Brisbane based artist, fashion illustrator Elle Wills does a phenomenal job creating texture and the impact she is able to make with such a limited use of color is stellar. It appears that beautiful 26-year-old Australian artist is inspiring a lot of new artists. Elle Wills loves drawing things that inspire her or things she finds beautiful. “I think the world needs more beauty, and to be inspired. I watch the news and its always sad or shocking or violent and I guess I just want to create things that can counteract that, if only for a second. If I can draw something beautiful or cheerful that makes someone smile then I am doing my part”. Elle Wills is also a tattoo apprentice specializing in realism portraits and creations. Most frequently she uses mediums – pencil, water color and acrylic.

Born in 1965, in Moscow, Vladimir Kush began drawing quite early, when the boy was 7 years old. First, he studied at the art school in Krasnopresnensk district of Moscow (for 10 years). Then, Vladimir entered the Stroganov Academy of fine arts. After graduating from the academy, he worked as a freelance artist, like many artists of the time. He sold his beautiful paintings on the famous Moscow art street – Arbat. According to the artist, he just painted the portraits of passers-by, then his talent attracted the attention of foreigners. Once, Kush was invited directly to the American embassy. Thanks to this chance, the artist was able to significantly tighten up his English, and to get an invitation to visit the USA.

All 87 participants of the beauty contest “Miss Universe 2013”, which for the first time in the 60 years of its existence, will be held in Russia, have met in Moscow. The contest “Miss Universe 2013” involved most beautiful girls from 27 European countries. However, not all of them are Europeans in the fullest sense of the word: Norway is ethnic Indian, Denmark – Pakistani and France – Tahitian.
The first Miss Universe beauty pageant was held in Long Beach, California and its queen became Armi Kuusela from Finland. The competition was first shown on US national television in 1955. In 1960, the show has left sunny California and moved to the hot Florida. Until 1971 beauties competition in bathing suits were only in the US, but since 1972 the competition is held each year in a new country.

Born in 1945, in Kursk, Nadezhda Liberova graduated from the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute named after Lenin. While Nadezhda was working as a school teacher (for forty years), at the same time she was engaged in various kinds of creativity: khokhloma, batik, collage, crochet and macrame. Since 2000, she began her creative career in artistic embroidering. Since 2004, Nadezhda Liberova has been a member of the Creative Union of Artists of Moscow. She participated in exhibitions in the house of creativity in Parnu (Estonia), in the exhibition hall of the Union of Artists of SEAD Moscow “Springs” in October 2007, her solo exhibitions took place in 2003, 2004, 2005.

In 1860, American spirit photographer William Mamler started the production of mysterious photographs in which on the background could be seen spirits. His lab did not know lack of customers. In 1869, he faced the trial for fraud, but judges failed to understand how the photo hoaxes were made. As a result, acquitted of fraud, Mumler’s career was ruined. Besides, Mamler was mentally ill with schizophrenia. And, before his death, he destroyed most of his working papers and photographs. Despite this, about 2 thousand pictures have survived in his laboratory. He died at the age of just 52, in 1884, and took the secrets of Photoshop of XIX century with him to the grave.
