Often called “the magician of origami”, Eric Joisel was a talented French origami artist. In particular, he created figurative art sculptures using sheets of paper and water. Noteworthy, without the use of any adhesive or scissors! Considered one of the world’s most gifted paper folders, Joisel created a body of work that only years ago seemed impossible. His talent was gaining international recognition, but, tragically, Joisel passed away in France October 10, 2010 at age 53.
