Born in a small town of Talnakh, Samara region, Andrew (Andrey) Gorkovenko lives in Moscow now. Russian artist and advertising designer graduated from Samara art college in 1991. After the college he began working at YellowDog Creative Agency. In addition, Andrew Gorkovenko graduated from Moscow International Institute of Advertising (2006). Currently he is working as an art director of Visual Branding Design in Moscow.
Meanwhile, drawing with dry tea is one of his talented ideas, which came to him by chance. These creative time-consuming tea leaf drawings look awesome. Just imagine how much patience and accuracy the artist needs to create such beautiful paintings. For example, for illustrations of the Great Wall of China and a pagoda the artist used green tea leaves, while for a Ceylon landscape – black tea leaves, characteristic for this region.
