Young Russian artist Alexander Bolkvadze was born in Moscow on July 11, 1986. He started painting not so long ago, having worked in completely different areas and different professions. His abstract paintings are linked to a plot that allows the viewer to interact with what he sees, leaving complete freedom for different inspiring and unlimited interpretations. April 26, 2012 Alexander Bolkvadze has become a Member of the Russian Union of professional artists.

Alexander Bolkvadze participated in a dozen auctions and pre auction exhibitions held by the auction house “Gelos 2007-2008”; International Exhibition Center, the exhibition “Necropolis 2008” (28-30 October 2008). The artworks of Alexander Bolkvadze were published in the German magazine “Ostwind” December 2008. Participated as an expert in intercollegiate competition of painting and graphics ARTVYSHKA 2010 and 2011. 6-11 April 2012 at the Competition “Russian Art Week” he took 2nd place in the nomination “abstraction” (competitive work “gravity”), and the 2nd and 3rd place in the competition on sculpture (sculptures “Science” and “Beauty”).
