Algis Griskevicius black-and-white photos
Born in Vilnius, in 1954, Algis Griskevicius is a talented Lithuanian artist and photographer. He studied at Vilnius Art Academy. According to Algis, he worked as artist’s assistant in Vilnius Opera and Ballet House, scene painter in Vilnius Youth Theatre. Currently, he is working as a freelance artist (from 1990). In addition to painting, Algis is engaged in life photography, wood carving, working with copper and brass.
In particular, these creative black and white photographs depict scenes from everyday life in the countryside. Algis Griskevicius arranged 56 personal exhibitions and participated in 100 group exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad. His art works exhibited in Latvia, Laos, Tunisia, Holland, Germany, Great Britain, France, Ireland, Poland, Russia, Portugal, Sweden, and USA. Also, in Croatia, Austria, China, Belgium, Italy, Vietnam, Spain, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Bulgaria, United Arab Emirates, and Canada.
