Undoubtedly, 2012 Ghent Light Festival is the most beautiful light displays you’ve ever seen. This cathedral, made by Italian company Luminarie De Cagna, consists of 55,000 LED. Amazing symbolic entrance with the gigantic colonnade – adorned with around 55,000 colorful LED bulbs. They shine so bright, but in reality, the entire installation consumes only 20 Kwatt/h. Inspired by Romanesque and Renaissance architecture, the LED cathedral towered 28 meters high. Anyway, Gothic cathedrals, with their massive stained glass windows, were the original light shows.
