San Diego-based photographer Claire Brocato grew up in South Africa. Then, she lived in England, and now resides in Southern California. According to the photographer, this helped her have a well-rounded view of the world and an appreciation for different cultures and ways of life. “It’s made me realize that there is more than one way of looking at something, which comes in handy with photography”.

Claire Brocato has a creative, photo-journalistic style. In particular, specializing in child, family and lifestyle photography full of beauty and softness. “I have always had an appreciation for beautiful and creative photographs, but only really started learning what I could do with my Nikon during the earlier part of 2009. I am still learning, but I’m thoroughly enjoying this journey and loving the world that photography has introduced me to!” – Claire Brocato

According to Brocato, she has always had an appreciation for beautiful and creative photographs. However, she only really started learning what she could do with her camera during a trip to Ireland in 2006. “I am still learning, but I’m thoroughly enjoying this journey and loving the world that photography has introduced me to!”
Meanwhile, over the past couple of years she has had photos published in Somerset Life, Somerset Home, and Mingle magazines. Some of her photographs are greeting cards bought by home decor companies.
