Drawings by French artist Cloudmilk
French self-taught artist Claude
Nicknamed ‘Cloudmilk’ (born August 14), Claude has been on deviant art since 2010 when he started drawing. According to the artist, he is still searching his own style. Cloudmilk’s small gallery includes beautiful hyperrealistic pencil drawings which leave no one indifferent. The young artist tries to capture the essential of a subject, and shows emotion, movement and light.
The artist himself says “I love all kind of graphic arts. I focus on graphite drawing at the moment as I’m learning, but my goal is painting and wood sculpture. Photography can be so inspiring too. I love classical and realistic art.. I wish I could live with my art … sometime”.
“I wanted to challenge myself with a dark reference, and wanted music in my drawings too. So the reference picture of Heather Nova on stage was it. born in the Bermuda Islands, Heather Nova has a sweet light voice coming deep from her soul. In fact, Beatles, Neil Young and Jimmy Cliff influenced her music”.
Half closing your eyes, you could recognize Brigitte Bardot. Graphite on 24*32 CM 200g Canson paper. 2B, 6B, 8B, technical, 0.3 to 5.56 mm pencils. Kneated and elastomer eraser, blender only for the background.
