Dinamic bronze sculpture Mark Ho’s iron man
Amsterdam, the Netherlands based artist Mark Ho got his early training in film making as a director and script writer. Meanwhile, during his second year at the academy he worked on an animation project that required the building of a puppet that was capable of many movements. So, he designed and built the puppet in metal and learned much about working with the materials. In addition, the project made him thinking about starting creating the “ultimate puppet” that could duplicate the grace and range of human movement.
In fact, it took Mark Ho six years to create this iron man, consisting of more than 500 parts. However, the one important thing about this iron man is that it can take any human posture.
