Mothers happiness by Vladimir Volegov
Born in Khabarovsk, Far East of the Soviet Union, Vladimir Volegov began painting at the age of three. In his youth he studied in the Krivoi Rog art school. And after finishing the art school, he entered the Lvov Polygraphic Institute. Soon after graduation from the institute (1984), Volegov began participating in art exhibitions, where he got awards. Meanwhile, in 1988 he moved to Moscow, where he studied the art of painting and worked in commercial art. And in 1990 Vladimir began traveling to Europe, where he earned money by painting in the streets of Barcelona, Berlin, Vienna, and other European cities. In 2004 he signed long term contract with publishing house Soho editions in the USA. Vladimir Volegov creates striking figurative works reflecting timeless sensibility. In addition to the series of paintings titled “Mother’s happiness”, I several added beautiful female portraits.
