Spanish photographer Saul Santos Diaz
Born on the Canary Islands in 1979, Saul Santos Diaz is a talented Spanish photographer. In 2001 he began his adventure in the world of photography, combining training and education with works for press and book editorials. Besides, he collaborated with tourism companies and different publishers from all over Canary Islands. Meanwhile, in 2006 Saul moved to Madrid, where he started his professional career. According to the photographer, he made his dreams come true. After finishing prestige college C.E.V. (Centro de Estudios del Video y la Imagen), he became professional photographer and a superior technician of artistic photography.
During those years, he traveled through many places, and with his camera captured magnificent landscapes, portraits and cityscapes. Also, he had a few exhibits in Madrid, which reached great success.
Meanwhile, from 2007 he visited Buenos Aires, Brasil, Chile, Uruguay, Peru and Bolivia. There he succeeded in his aim to make stunning reportages, placing emphasis on Patagonia and mountain range of the Andes. As a result, his beautiful photographs appeared in world wide known magazines. In particular, El Pais, El Mundo, ABC y La Vanguardia, Vision Salvaje, Viajes de Nacional Geographic, Lonely Planet, GEO, Viajeros, and Natural. Also, in Integral, El Mundo de los Pirineos, Ronda Iberia, Oxigeno, Mas Viajes and Turismo y Aventura (Spain). Besides, in Digital Camera (England), Ateko (Poland), Unike Imagen (Taiwan), Popular Photography & Imaging (New York), and many more.

On his way home, in 2008 he received a new offer – to work on the maps construction for his country in Madrid. Simultaneously he worked for Travel and promotion service on Canary Islands. Among all, he’s also the co-author of the books: “Eso es la Palma” and “Parque Nacional de la Caldera de Taburiente”.
Later, in 2011 Saul Santos Diaz continued his work in South America, thanks to support of Secretary of tourism and some magazine publishers and cruise companies, for their own promotion. And 2012 brought many new projects, such as educating young talents all over the world (in Indonesia, Ethiopia, Nepal). His work nowadays decorates different international halls, like part of the group or self-contained exhibitions.
