Born in 1964, Spanish based artist Alicia Martin is famous for her artworks in various fields. In particular, sculpture, photography, video, drawing and installation. … And among her latest creations – art installations with the use of large quantities of books. She has created three picturesque installations in Madrid. The artwork looks very impressive, as if a giant pour thousands of books out of the window. According to the artist, the installation consists of 5000 books. Meanwhile, the construction looks fragile with waving on the wind pages of open books. However, the book tower is well constructed and not fragile at all.
