The new sparkling installation, called “Cloud Terrace” consists of 10,000 hand mounted Swarovski crystals. Based on wire mesh the precious art installation attracts many visitors to Georgetown (Washington, DC). Its inventor is the landscape artists Andy Cao and Xavier Perrot, whose debute took place at the Dumbarton Oaks, Institute of Harvard University. Meanwhile, the creative duo of designers work mostly in the the garden and landscape architecture. Also they became known for their creative approach of combining art and landscape.
According to sources, the surface of the installation is 1,400 square meters. Noteworthy, it is the largest work of its kind in the world. The Crystal Cloud consists of around 800,000 hand-mounted Swarovski crystals.
