Ernestina Gallina stone painting
A unique and the oldest form of art, humankind used stone painting as the first form of art. Meanwhile, creative artists still practise stone painting. Using acrylic, they transform ordinary stones into beautiful images of pets, insects and wildlife. Turning ordinary rocks into lifelike looking animals is something truly magical and exciting. One of the artists working in this techniques is an Italian artist Ernestina Gallina. She is inspired by the rock’s natural shape and the whole beauty of nature and animals.
