Vedic Rus by Vsevolod Ivanov
Born on August 14, 1950 in Belomorsk, Vsevolod Borisovich Ivanov is a talented artist inspired by the traditions and history of Russia. And in particular, the history of medieval Russia. Professional painter, in 1978 he graduated from the Tver art school, specialty – graphic designer. Until 1974, he participated in the city, regional and once in a Union Exhibition of amateur artists. Since 1978, he has been exhibited through the Union of Artists of Russia.
In fact, his art is the bridge to a sunny and beautiful world of our Russian past. According to the artist himself, he paints “Stolen ancient period of the historical path of our Russian ancestors”. The History of medieval Russia inspires the painter. The Art of the Russian artist should have and educational functions, says Ivanov, who feels great need to actively oppose the “globalization of art”.
