Robotic cheetah. American artist Andrew Chase’s steam punk sculpture
Andrew Chase’s steam punk sculpture
American artist, sculptor Andrew Chase lives in Salt Lake City. His inspiring Steampunk sculptures not only look mechanical — they can move. Andrew Chase’s Steampunk giraffe is made from transmission parts, electrical conduit and plumbing pipe. Connected with a complex mesh of gears and levers, it is designed to look and work in a realistic manner. All the joints rotate and lock into any specific position. While “Cheetah,” “Giraffe” and “Elephant” were designed by Chase for a 50-page picture book about Robot TME, or Trionic Morphatractable Engineer, Chase sells his artworks online and through galleries.
