Beautiful paintings by Anastasia Sahaltueva (Sakhaltueva)
Born on 29 November 1976 in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine, Anastasia Sahaltueva is the author of these beautiful colorful paintings. After graduating from the Dnepropetrovsk Art College in 1998, she entered the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture (studio of monumental painting) in Kiev. She graduated in 2005, specializing in stained glass painting. Sahaltueva has been a permanent participant of group and solo art exhibitions since 2001 in Kiev, Ukraine.
Noteworthy, her paintings, artwork and stained glass windows are in private collections in different countries of the world. A Member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine, the talented artist lives in Yerevan, Armenia. She moved here from Ukraine after her husband, animator Adrian Sahaltuev. He is the son of the famous artist, cartoonist and animator Radna Sahaltuev. He became famous as the creator of the well known cartoons. In particular, Captain Vrungel, Dr. Aibolit, Dr. Lindsey and Captain Silver from “Treasure Island” and many other favorite cartoons of our childhood.

Mysterious beauties on the background of castles, or beautiful scenery of stained-glass windows… And the work itself shows rich, vivid colors and their combinations, smooth form transitions – are the stained glass windows. Among the works that Anastasia created – landscapes and still lifes. However, most of all she likes to work on female portraits. The beautiful women in her portraits resemble medieval times. Probably because her favorite artists are Van Dyck, Rogier van der Weyden, and Memling.
