If you are going to visit southern Russian city Rostov-on-Don – one of the places of interest of the city is the following beautiful staircase (the address – Dobrovolskogo Str., 8/3). All the work is made by one man, the artist Konstantin Nikolaev, living in one of the apartments. It all started with the installation of the tiles on the ground floor, has continued wrought iron staircases, murals on the walls and moldings on the ceiling. According to the authors entrance was supposed to get in the spirit of an Italian courtyard. Everything made by hands of one person. The most interesting thing is that all this was done without any financial support from neighbors and purely altruistic.
