Triumph of the street art of Brazilian twins Os Gemeos
Born in Sao Paulo, Otavio and Gustavo Pandolfo are identical twin brothers. The grew up in the cradle of the Brazilian school of street art, started to draw at age thirteen. In fact, Os Gemeos may well be considered among the founders of the local style of graffiti influenced by traditional hip hop style and the Brazilian culture. Subjects of their graffiti – based on Sao Paulo’s social and political circumstances, as well as Brazilian folklore. Meanwhile, their yellow-skinned characters became known outside of Brazil. And now twin brothers regularly exhibit their works in galleries around the world.
