China’s Ghost Disneyland
Welcome to China’s Magic Kingdom called Wonderland. Situated on an area of around 100 acres (40.5 hectares), and 45 minutes drive from the center of Beijing, the park resembles ghost city. Meanwhile, these ruins of Wonderland appeared more than a decade ago, when the cnstruction stopped. However, the developers promoted it as the largest amusement park in Asia. In fact, the reason is quite simple – funds stopped around 1998 due to disagreements over property prices with the local government and farmers.
