Being a real master of landscape painting, he accomplishes perfection, revealing plastic gorgeousness of object world. Creating an unrepeatable mood, he builds a real and fantastic world at the same time. In his paintings, the artist depicted magnificent night views of European cities. Among them – Amsterdam, San Francisco, Bruges, Venice.
“In my youth, I remember many called the painting – profession, and artists – professionals. Several years ago, a serious illness of my hands almost deprived me of the opportunity to paint. It turned out that it is very difficult, if not impossible, to find some substitute to my work. Gradually, over two years, the disease has receded, and I went back to work. Noteworthy, then I realized one thing: the artist is still not a profession, it’s – a destiny”.
In fact, Lushpin belongs to the most outstanding modern Russian painters. His works decorate many private collections in the USA, Europe and Russia. Also, one of the most important works in his career – evening landscape “First star” decorates the gallery of State History Museum.
