Born in 1990 in Manchester, Abbey Watkins is a young and talented British illustrator. She graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with first class honors in Textile Design for Fashion (BA Hons). According to Abbey, her pencil drawings – inspired by music, fashion, and digital art. As the artist herself admits, “The inspiration can come from anywhere, and I find beauty in most things. A lot of my work – generated from fashion imagery. Meanwhile, I love to create my own ideas from other areas of interest”. In particular, music, film, the natural world, past fashions, dreams and utopian worlds.
