Famous Colombian illustrator based in Barcelona since 1999, Catalina Estrada reinterpreted the Latin American folklore and made it bloom in deep harmony and simplicity. According to the artist, she is passionate about nature and colors. “I love colors and shapes and if I have a choice I want to make them beautiful”. Flora and fauna are Catalina’s main source of inspiration. Undoubtedly, her beautiful work is cheerful, bright, emotive and full of love. In fact, Catalina Estrada communicates through colors, giving us a feeling of happiness. Looking at her art is a bit like putting your eye to a good kaleidoscope to reveal a psychedelic whirl of color and shape.
