Young and beautiful British artist Amy Dover is from County Durham, North East England. She creates beautiful pencil drawings reflecting the dark side of human nature, in other words – his hidden world. Beautifully drawn in pencil – man, bird and beast she tackles eternal themes – death and life, humiliation, and deceit. Characters of cannibalistic crows, humiliated bears, and the innocence and loss of a dead sparrow. She makes us think, and this matters.

Amy Dover tackles eternal themes – death and life, humiliation, and deceit. She renders Macabre tales, and sad but beautiful moments in time. Often challenging human perceptions of the natural world, and playing with the relationship between different souls.

Her influences come from growing up in a small village in the North of England, playing in the woods and reading fairy tales. As well as a love of Victorian paintings, Silent films, and Natural History books.
