Russian artist, illustrator, designer and architect Victoria Fomina graduated from Moscow High School of Architecture. Her interests are painting, graphics, illustration. She has illustrated more than 30 books, published in Russia, USA, South Korea, Taiwan, Switzerland, Brazil, Norway, Italy, and France. Victoria Fomina – a famous illustrator, creator of fantastic worlds. Among her works are illustrations for such well-known books as “The House That Jack Built” by S. Marshak, “Land of Oz” by L. F. Baum, “Mary Poppins” by P. Travers, and many others. A new series of beautiful paintings from Victoria Fomina – “Mozart, Music, Springtime.” The spring sun light and musical composition on golden canvases create a fantastic mood. Her paintings depicting the life and music of Mozart, have been highly appreciated in the art world: Victoria Fomina received a prestigious international prize – “Golden Apple” (Bratislava).
Victoria Fomina took part in numerous art exhibitions in Bologna (Italy), Bratislava (Slovakia), Geneva (Switzerland), Russia, Japan, Estonia, France, Norway, India, South Korea, and Taiwan.
Awards: 1997 – Winner of competition held by the State Committee of Printing, Russia. In her award list are – Professional Prize for the best book “The Golden Ostap” (Russia), “The Golden Pen of Belgrade” (Serbia), “The Golden Apple” (Bratislava, Slovakia), “Power of Pictures”, Estonia. In addition, Victoria Fomina is a creative artist-interior designer – she paints, comes up with incredible stories for silk scarves, curtains, screens and t-shirts.
