Born in Neenah, Wisconsin, Beth Moon is a talented self-taught American photographer. Beth now lives with her husband and three children in the San Francisco Bay. According to Beth Moon, many of the trees that she shot survived, because they are beyond the reach of civilization, on the slopes, private estates, or on protected lands. In fact, some species exist only in isolated parts of the world.
