Russian volleyball player Lesya Makhno
Born 4 September 1981, in Poltava region, USSR, Lesya Anatolievna Yevdokimova is a Russian volleyball player. As a child, she moved with her family to the city of Surgut of the Tyumen region. There, in 1990, she began practicing volleyball in the sports school “Geologist”. Her first coach was I.A. Ivlev. Since 2006, Lesya Makhno entered the national team of Russia to participate in various international friendly tournaments. In particular, Montreux Volley Masters 2006 and 2007, and others. Lesya Makhno is Russian national team player, Honored Master of Sports of Russia, and World champion in 2010. In August 2012 Volleyball star Lesya Makhno married Russian handball star Egor Evdokimov.
She was playing in Teams: 1998-2000 – Russia/Gazprom of Russia (Moscow), 2000-2004 – Luch-MGRS (Moscow), 2004-2005 and 2006-2011 – Dynamo (Moscow), and 2005 -2006 – CSKA Moscow. Also, in 2011 she played for the “Dinamo- Kazan”. She is a four-time champion of Russia (2007, 2009, 2012, 2013), four times silver medalist at Russian championships (2005, 2008, 2010, 2011), and three-time winner (2005, 2009, 2012 ). Besides, three-time finalist of the Cup of Russia (2007, 2008, 2011), silver (2007, 2009) and bronze (2012) winner of the Champions League. Most Valuable Player in «Final Four» Cup of Russia in 2012.
