Dales Sakalienes is a talented Lithuanian artist from Panevezys. She creates beautiful and very detailed sculptures from wood, prefers lime tree, linden wood. The inspiration to the artist comes from nature and ancient Baltic folk motives. Dales Sakalienes believes it is very important to know where we come from who our ancestors are. It takes the young woman much time to create wooden sculptures, but the artist says she does not count the time, it is a creative job. Sometimes it takes a month, sometimes two, sometimes three, depending on the complexity of work. This requires both inspiration and patience.
