Belarusian biathlete Darya Domracheva made her first steps in sport in Siberia. Darya Vladimirovna Domracheva born on August 3, 1986 in Minsk, the Soviet Union. In 1990, 4-year-old girl with her parents moved to the Siberian town of Nyagan, where her mother was the chief architect of the town. It is noteworthy that in Nyagan spent her early childhood another famous and beautiful athlete – Maria Sharapova. At 6 years of age Darya Domracheva became involved in skiing. In 1999 she became one of the first students appeared in Nyagan biathlon school.

First gold medal at the world championships Darya Domracheva won in Ruhpolding, Germany in 2012, winning the pursuit competition at the mistress Magdalena Neuner. In season Domracheva ranked second overall in the World Cup.
