Born in Kolkata, in 1975, Indian artist Debarati Sarkar graduated MA from Calcutta University in 1999. According to Debarati Sarkar, as a girl, deeply interested in decorative art, she drew and painted since childhood. These colorful, bright, even psychedelic artworks, with highly contrasting colors make her paintings unique, with distinct features. Meanwhile, all these beautiful paintings relate to the style of minimalism. Debarati Sarkar participated in many local and international exhibitions. Also, her artworks are in private collections of corporate houses, galleries, banks and interior decoration firms in different countries. Now the talented decorative painter Debarati Sarkar is a freelance artist.
