Traditionally, for any Russian the word “felted” goes with the word “boots” (valenki) as if nothing else can be made out of felted wool. Creative Russian artist and animal lover Dubrovsky destroyed this stereotype with his beautiful realistic toys. The works of Russian puppet master are cute, expressive, emotional and more than simply toys. According to the craftsman, he additionally uses various materials for decoration. In particular, glass beads, wire and others handy tools. Dubrovsky lives in the city of Balashikha, Moscow region.
