Glass Frogs nature bioindicators
Resembling a figure of glass, these Frogs is a wonderful living creature. Just look at its top, side, front – plain, unremarkable, the frog. In fact, the skin on its stomach is so transparent that you can see all of the organs, including the tiny eggs. However, the lime green skin has different types of transparency. One of the most fascinating amphibians on our planet, these frogs live in humid mountain forests in Central and South America. Mostly active at night, frogs become very difficult to spot for predators. Meanwhile, conservationists are especially interested in these beautiful frogs because they are good bioindicators. By watching the glass frogs, scientists can learn what impact global warming has on these forests and the amazing species that inhabit them.
