Handmade submarine by Vasily Chikur
Talented Ukrainian craftsman from Odessa, Vasily Chikur may be called Jack of all trades. In particular, he has designed and built this underwater submarine from the ground up with his own hands. As a result, a handmade submarine – a dream has come true. Besides, the creator managed to make a few dives from his creation. Interestingly, Vasily built the submarine which he saw in his dream. In fact, Chikur started working on submarine two and a half years ago and it took some time to develop the drawing. And then, he, with the help of his friends brought the drawing to life. Meanwhile, some details took away a lot of time and effort. Chikur carefully thought out all the steps of creating a submarine, and invested a lot of money into the project.

After completing all the necessary rituals Vasily Chikur managed to make the first dive on the Dnieper river. Currently Chikur tries to solve one more problem, the complexity of its is utterly superior to everything that he encountered during the creation of the invention – ‘Chikur-1’ needs to be officially registered. Yet Vasily failed to break through the complex bureaucracy of marine boards. However, the inventor didn’t lose faith in himself.
